Overview

The Epilepsy Centers of Excellence (ECoE) is a nationwide network within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) that focuses on providing specialized care for veterans with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Their annual report serves as a vital communication tool, highlighting significant achievements, clinical innovations, telehealth expansion, and strategic priorities. ECoE needed an engaging, data-driven, and accessible report to effectively showcase its contributions and outline its future direction.

508 Compliance Report

01

Challenge

The main task was to transform a dense, data-heavy report into an engaging visual document that would appeal to a diverse audience, including policymakers, healthcare providers, and veterans. The report needed to convert complex medical and statistical information into a format that is easy to read, while maintaining a balance between clinical credibility and readability. Additionally, the report was required to comply with VA branding standards and be designed in a modern, visually appealing way, ensuring accessibility for readers with disabilities.

Solution

Creative Cycle developed a strategic content presentation and design approach. A clean and professional design was implemented, utilizing visual storytelling techniques such as infographics, charts, and highlight boxes to organize detailed information into distinct categories. A rational hierarchy, straightforward typography, and thoughtful spacing all contributed to enhanced readability and engagement. Additionally, the design adhered to the VA's brand standards, incorporating a new color palette and modern design elements to effectively represent and support ECoE's mission.

FAQ

Get quick answers about working with us and our approach to digital solutions.

What’s included in a monthly retainer?

01

Each retainer includes a set number of design or strategy requests per month, priority turnaround, and a dedicated point of contact. It’s built for teams who want ongoing support without starting from scratch every time.

How many requests can I make per month?

02

We typically handle up to two active requests at a time, with new ones queued as they’re completed. Most deliverables are turned around within 48–72 hours, depending on complexity.

Is a retainer better than a one-off project?

03

If you need ongoing design support, faster turnarounds, or regular iterations, a retainer is often more cost-effective and collaborative than starting fresh each time.

Who will I be working with?

04

You’ll work directly with senior designers and strategists. No middle layers, no fluff—just experienced people doing the work.

Do you work with international clients?

05

Yes. Most of our clients are remote. We’re fully set up to collaborate across time zones with clear communication and shared tools.
